SOLAR LIGHTS IN ISINGWU: Let The People Know Who Actually Delivered – By Mandate 27 Group

The people of Isingwu Autonomous Community are today celebrating the installation of solar lights in their community, and the message is clear.

From the report above, the solar lights were provided by Engr. Onyekachi Irokwe, an illustrious son of Okaiuga Nkwoegwu, whose mother hails from Umuokwnunta, Okpu, Isingwu Autonomous Community. The people have openly expressed their gratitude for this intervention and are celebrating the impact it is making in their community.

This development raises a very important question about the scorecard of the Federal House Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Hon. Obi Aguocha.

If solar-light installation is being presented as part of the Federal Representative’s achievements, then the people deserve to know clearly: which solar-light projects were actually facilitated by the Federal Representative, and which ones were delivered by individuals and sons of the communities?

We hope that tomorrow, Hon. Obi Aguocha will not come out to claim this particular project as part of his scorecard, when the people of Isingwu are already identifying and appreciating the person who brought the intervention to their community.

Leadership is not about compiling projects on paper. Leadership is about visible, verifiable and impactful delivery.

As 2027 approaches, the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia must look beyond political claims and examine the evidence on the ground. The people deserve representation that is active, effective, accountable and capable of delivering meaningful development.

Come 2027, Ikwuano/Umuahia will do the needful and vote for competent leadership that will truly represent the interests of the people.
