HE HAS DUG HIS GRAVE WITH HIS OWN MOUTH

Hon Obi Aguocha has finally dug his political grave. Not with shovel, but with his mouth. With his tribalistic, clannish, village-meeting mentality, he has told all non-indigenes living in Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency that they have no right to ask questions about his failure. He did it through his goons when they attacked Mr Ikechukwu Kelvin Okorie Ikukufied and told him to go back to Ebonyi State. That single statement has exposed who Aguocha really is.

IKWUANO/UMUAHIA IS NOT OHUHU VILLAGE SQUARE, IT IS NIGERIA IN MINIATURE

Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency is cosmopolitan. It is a melting pot. Go to Ubakala market, you will see Hausa man selling onions, Yoruba woman selling lace, Tiv man doing carpentry, Igala and Igbira doing okada, Efik and Ibibio working in restaurants, Ebonyi men and women building houses and doing business. They pay rent in Afugiri. They pay tax in Umuahia. They buy from Nkwoegwu. They vote in Ikwuano. This is Nigeria. But Aguocha sees it as Ohuhu family meeting where only Ohuhu can talk.

THE CONSTITUTION ABHORS WHAT AGUOCHA PROMOTES

Chapter 2, Section 15 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria says national integration shall be actively encouraged and tribalism and ethnic parochialism are prohibited. Section 42 says no citizen shall be discriminated against on account of place of origin. When you tell a man who lives legally in Ikwuano/Umuahia to go back to Ebonyi because he asked where is our N450m Afugiri Health Centre, you have violated the Constitution you swore to uphold in the Green Chamber. That is not honourable. That is tribalistic.

SHOOTING HIMSELF ON THE LEG

Aguocha shot himself on the leg. In trying to silence one man from Ebonyi, he has insulted millions of non-indigenes in Ikwuano/Umuahia. He told Hausa community they cannot ask where is rice. He told Yoruba community they cannot ask where is transformer. He told Imo, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Tiv, Igala, Igbira, Efik, Ibibio that they are strangers and should keep quiet while Federal money disappears. Is this the kind of Rep you want in National Assembly of Federal Republic of Nigeria? A man who divides Nigeria inside his own constituency?

WHAT DID IKECHUKWU KELVIN OKORIE DO TO DESERVE THIS TRIBAL SLUR?

What did Ikukufied do? He asked simple questions: Where is two trailers of rice palliative from Federal Government? Where is N450m Afugiri Health Centre? Where is your scorecard ward by ward? Is that a crime? Instead of answering, Aguocha’s goons said go back to Ebonyi. So if you ask where is rice, you must go back to Ebonyi. If you ask where is light, go back to Ebonyi. This is horrible. This is clannish.

A MAN WHO CANNOT DEFEND HIS SCORECARD, DEFENDS WITH TRIBALISM

When a man has no project to show, he brings tribalism. Ben Kalu is distributing 26 transformers to Ndi Bende today. He did not ask who is from Bende or who is from Ebonyi. Light does not discriminate. Transformer does not check state of origin. But Aguocha cannot give 5 transformers, so he must check state of origin to silence people. That is the last card of a failed Rep.

OHUHU MOUTHPIECE ALREADY TOLD US OHUHU HAS NO PROJECT, NOW YOU TELL NON-INDIGENES TO KEEP QUIET

Your own Ohuhu Mouthpiece wrote that Ohuhu is lacking behind, no government project, no infrastructural development, no youth empowerment. So even your own clan has nothing. Now you are telling non-indigenes who also have nothing to keep quiet. So who should talk? Only your Facebook boys? Ikwuano/Umuahia is tired.

TO HAUSA COMMUNITY IN IKWUANO/UMUAHIA: AGUOCHA SAYS YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO ASK QUESTIONS

Hausa brothers who live in Ikwuano/Umuahia, who have been here for 20 years, who vote here, hear this: Your Rep says if you are not indigene, you cannot question him. Is this the Rep you want in 2027? A Rep who wants to force you out of a land you have taken as yours?

TO YORUBA, TIV, IGALA, IGBIRA, EFIK, IBIBIO, EBONYI: SAME QUESTION

Yoruba community in Umuahia, Tiv carpenters in Ikwuano, Igala and Igbira brothers doing transport business, Efik and Ibibio sisters in markets, Ebonyi people building Abia – Aguocha’s goons said go back to your state if you ask questions. Are you going back? Or will you stay and vote out tribalism in 2027? This land is your land, you pay for it, you live in it. You have right to demand light, road, rice.

A NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MEMBER MUST BE A NATIONALIST, NOT A TRIBALIST

National Assembly is not House of Ohuhu. It is House of Federal Republic. A man who goes there must be detribalized. Must see Hausa as brother, Yoruba as brother, Ebonyi as brother. Aguocha has shown he is not a nationalist, he is a tribalist. He has shown he cannot represent cosmopolitan constituency. He can only represent village meeting.

HE INSULTS ELDERS, NOW HE INSULTS NON-INDIGENES – WHO IS NEXT?

Yesterday it was His Excellency Distinguished Senator Theodore Ahamefula Orji, a 75-year-old elder, he called thief on Facebook Live without court conviction. Today it is Ikechukwu Kelvin Okorie from Ebonyi, tomorrow it will be Hausa community, next tomorrow Yoruba community. A man who insults elders and insults strangers has no home.

THE LAW IS CLEAR: RESIDENCE, NOT ORIGIN, GIVES YOU RIGHT

Supreme Court has said in many cases: In Federal Constituency, residency is enough to enjoy dividends and to demand accountability. Electoral Act says you vote where you reside, not where your grandfather was buried. So Ikechukwu Kelvin Okorie who lives in Abia and makes a living in Abia qualifies to ask, more than Aguocha who lived many years in America.

THE HORROR OF 2027 IF YOU KEEP TRIBALISTIC REP

Imagine 2027 to 2031 with same tribalistic Rep. If you are Hausa, you will not get palliative because you are not Ohuhu. If you are Ebonyi, you will be told go back to Ebonyi when you ask for road. If you are Yoruba, you will be silenced. Do you want four more years of clannish politics while Bende enjoys 26 transformers?

NON-INDIGENES, THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SPEAK

We are asking non-indigenes living in Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency: Is Aguocha, who wants to force you out of a land you have taken as yours, who tells you go back to Ebonyi because you asked where is our project, is this the kind of Rep you want to vote to represent you come 2027? Or do you want a Rep who will see you as Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia whether you are Hausa, Yoruba, Tiv, Ebonyi, Efik?

KICK OUT TRIBALISM, VOTE CAPACITY

Ikwuano/Umuahia does not need a tribal champion, it needs a federal legislator. It needs a man who knows that light does not discriminate, rice does not discriminate, road does not discriminate. That man is not the clannish, tribalistic Rep who dug his grave with his own mouth. That man is Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, a man who as Speaker gave projects to every community regardless of clan, who employed Hausa, Yoruba, Ebonyi in his businesses without asking where you come from, who will represent all Nigerians living in Ikwuano/Umuahia.

Come 2027, let us bury tribalism and vote capacity.
