NGF Hails Adeleke’s Re-election, Says Strides Paid Off

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election, saying his strides in office and the confidence of the electorate contributed to his victory.

Speaking through its Chairman and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Sunday, the Forum praised Osun residents for their large turnout and all candidates who participated in the keenly contested election.

The NGF described the poll as another demonstration of the resilience of Nigeria’s democracy, while recognising the role of opposition parties and security agencies in ensuring a smooth electoral process.

The Forum expressed confidence that Adeleke would build on the achievements of his first term during his second tenure, while describing President Bola Tinubu’s role in the election as statesmanlike.
