My Testimony: Rt.  Hon. Benjamin Kalu Didn’t Just Talk, He Opened Doors For Me – By Iheonu Chukwuemeka

Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu gave me FIRS and RMAFC appointment letters on the same day two appointments in two of the most sought after institutions in Nigeria. I was given the privilege to choose the one I wanted.

And this came after I had already worked with the Federal Character Commission in Abuja for one year, an opportunity he facilitated for me.

This is the same man some people are now asking the people of Bende to vote against.

This is the same man who sent me to China, giving me the opportunity to acquire an international certificate that I proudly hold today.

This is the same man who gave me a ticket to contest for councillor, believed in me, and gave me a platform to serve.

This is the same man who paid my university school fees, encouraged me, supported me, and constantly challenged me to become the best version of myself.

So when I speak about Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, I am not speaking from hearsay. I am speaking from personal experience.

Leadership is not about noise, propaganda, or empty promises. Sometimes, the strongest evidence of a leader’s impact is found in the lives of the people he has lifted.

I am one of those lives.

If someone who has done all these for me can be called a bad representative, then I honestly wonder what the standard for good representation has become.

Bende must continue to recognise performance, empowerment, opportunity and results.

Benjamin Kalu has invested in people. I am living proof.
