You Lied That Federal Government Has Not Released Funds To You For Constituency Projects – Paul Njoku Tells Aguocha, Says He Should Not Be Re-elected For His Unproductive Representation
Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, a human rights activist, author and political strategist to Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, has stated that the member representing Ikwuano/
Umuahia Federal Constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Obi Aguocha, should honourably resign and stop campaigning for second tenure if constituency project funds are not released to him by the federal government, stressing that Aguocha should be interrogated to explain whether his numerous colleagues who are developing their constituencies with impactful landmark projects, human capital developments and massive empowerments to their constituents are not serving with him in the 10th Federal House of Representatives.
Following a response from the media team of Hon. Obi Aguocha on September 9, 2026, tagged: “Aguocha Media Team Replies Paul Njoku: ‘You Can’t Withhold Funds That Have Not Been Released’, in the press statement, Hon. Aguocha, said that the ‘Federal Government has not released funds for constituency projects’.
Reacting further, Comrade Njoku, criticized Aguocha to be held accountable and answer questions why Hon. Ginger Onwusibe and Hon. Amobi Ogah of Abia State et al are massively using same constituency funds by the federal government for the large development of their constituencies unlike him.
“The member representing Ikwuano/
Umuahia Federal Constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Obi Aguocha, should honourably resign and stop campaigning for second tenure as he claimed that constituency project funds have not been released to him by the federal government. This is misleading and ridiculous.
“The good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency should charge Obi Aguocha to explain whether his numerous colleagues who are developing their constituencies with impactful landmark projects, human capital developments and massive empowerments are not serving with him in the 10th Federal House of Representatives.
“He lied and should not be re-elected for his unproductive representation. He should be held accountable for the unaccounted constituency funds by the federal government. He must be charged to answer questions why Hon. Ginger Onwusibe and Hon. Amobi Ogah of Abia State et al are massively using same constituency funds by the federal government for the large development of their constituencies unlike him. He was following Nnamdi Kanu everywhere mindless to visibly utilize constituency funds for the development and empowerment of the good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.
“As Obi Aguocha laments that constituency project funds are not released to him by the federal government, my question is, “where did he get funds for his purported building Of Schools, Hospitals, Scholarships, Capital Development, attraction and co-sponsorship of Umuahia – Ikot-Ekpene Federal Road project amongst other fake constituency projects in his claims?”, Njoku stated.
