Charity Refused To Begin At Home — How Ulonna South Farm Settlement In Ohuhu Dies In Neglect Under Her Own Son, Obi Aguocha – By Mandate 27 Group

THE LAMENTATION FROM HOME

Ulonna South Farm Settlement is situated in Ohuhu, Obi Aguocha’s own domain, yet dwellers therein are complaining of neglect. Mazi Ndudim Iweha is lamenting that they have been neglected and cries out for help. Palm produce and other agricultural products cannot be brought to the markets because of the neglect of the road. This is not MANDATE 27 GROUP creation. Another video, not a creation of MANDATE 27 GROUP has surfaced and the story is the same: Aguocha has abandoned even his own domain.

THE MOST PITEOUS QUESTION

Where then is the charity that begins at home? If a man cannot fix his father’s compound, how will he fix the village square? If Ulonna South Farm Settlement in Ohuhu — his own Ohuhu — is crying for help, what will Olokoro say? What will Ubakala say? What will Ikwuano say? The road that carries palm oil to market is broken in the home of the Representative. That is piteous.

IS THIS NOT INSENSITIVITY OF THE HIGHEST PROPORTION?

Is this not insensitivity of the highest proportion? A farmer wakes at 5am in Ulonna South, harvests palm bunches, loads bicycle, pushes through mud that swallows tyre, returns because road has refused him. His palm kernel rots. His garri cannot reach Umuahia market. His children school fees tied to that palm produce is lost. Yet his son is in Green Chamber, holding mandate, holding microphone, shouting Orji family. Who really is Obi Aguocha representing if his domain, which ordinarily should be the bragging rights of her people live in abject neglect?

OHUHU SHOULD BE BRAGGING, OHUHU IS LAMENTING

Ohuhu should be bragging: our son is in Abuja. Instead Ohuhu is lamenting: our son has abandoned us. Mazi Ndudim Iweha’s voice is not anger, it is melancholy. It is the melancholy of a people who gave votes, gave hope, gave palm fronds during campaign, and received neglect. Ulonna South Farm Settlement was established to feed Abia. Today it cannot feed itself because road has failed. The farm settlement that should be pride is now pity.

FROM FAYOSE TO OHABUIRO TO NDUDIM — SAME SONG OF ABANDONMENT

Few days ago it was Iyierioba Fayose lamenting abysmal performance. Then it was Emeka Ohabuiro saying “I regret ever supporting you. You are a failure and must be voted out”. Today it is Mazi Ndudim Iweha crying that Ulonna South has been neglected. Three videos, three men, same story: Aguocha has abandoned even his own domain. This is not MANDATE 27 talking. This is his own people talking.

THE ROAD THAT CARRIES PALM OIL IS THE ROAD THAT CARRIES DIGNITY

A farm settlement road is not just road. It is dignity. It is how palm produce becomes school fees. It is how plantain becomes medicine. When that road is neglected, dignity is neglected. When palm produce cannot be brought to market, a farmer’s labour becomes waste. What is more melancholic than a farmer watching his harvest rot because his Representative who is from Ohuhu did not remember Ulonna South in budget, in motion, in lobbying?

YET HE IS FROM OHUHU

Yet Obi Aguocha is from Ohuhu. That is what breaks heart. If Olokoro-Ahiaukwu-Amangwo-Umuajata Road, Contract 6063, is abandoned, we could say maybe he does not know Olokoro. If Iyi Umudere Bridge in Olokoro is abandoned after visitation, we could say maybe he does not know Umudere. But Ulonna South Farm Settlement is in Ohuhu. His own place. His own blood. His own farm settlement. How does a man abandon his own settlement and claim to represent Ikwuano Umuahia?

THE THOUSANDS OF BAGS OF RICE QUESTION RETURNS

Thousands of bags of rice from Federal Government to Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency are missing. Ask him where rice is. Did Ulonna South Farm Settlement see rice? Did Mazi Ndudim Iweha see rice? A farm settlement that feeds others should at least eat. But if road is neglected, rice is missing, transformer claim in Ofeke-Azueke Ndume Ibeku is disowned, what then has Ohuhu gained from having son in Green Chamber?

THE PITEOUS REALITY OF 2026

In 2026, the piteous reality is that Ohuhu lives in abject neglect under her own son. Ulonna South Farm Settlement cries out for help while her son cries out Orji family name. The settlement needs road, not rhetoric. Needs market access, not microphone access. Needs tractor, not tirade against Orji who left office in June 2023 and holds no budget today. Charity refused to begin at home.

WHY WOULD NOT THERE BE A CLAMOUR FOR A DELIVERER?

Ask why wouldn’t there be a clamour for a deliverer if one who was elected by a people have so abandoned same people to their fate? When a people are abandoned to fate, they clamour for deliverer. When farm produce cannot reach market, they clamour for deliverer. When their own son forgets them, they clamour for deliverer. That clamour is what you hear in Mazi Ndudim Iweha voice. That clamour is what you saw in Emeka Ohabuiro video. That clamour is what you heard in Iyierioba Fayose lamentation. It is natural. It is human.

A REPRESENTATIVE SHOULD BE BRAGGING RIGHTS

A Representative should be bragging rights of his domain. Ohuhu sons and daughters outside should say: our road is fixed, our farm settlement is booming, our palm produce enters Umuahia market daily. Instead they hide face because video of neglect is circulating. Who really is Obi Aguocha representing if his domain lives in abject neglect? That question is not insult, it is melancholic inquiry from a people tired of carrying palm produce on head because road failed under their son.

THE CONTRAST THAT MAKES OHUHU CRY MORE

The contrast makes Ohuhu cry more. Other federal constituencies attract RAAMP roads, attract ecological fund, attract federal presence. Ohuhu that has son in House cannot attract grading of Ulonna South Farm Settlement road. Other constituencies have Reps who publish distribution list for rice. Ikwuano Umuahia rice is missing. Other constituencies have Reps who track Contract 6063. Ikwuano Umuahia contractor Rhas Nigeria Ltd disappeared with equipment. Ohuhu sees all this and weeps.

THE BASTION OF EMANCIPATION OHUHU NOW LOOKS TO

But in this melancholy, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji stands as the bastion of emancipation. Why? Because he has shown that representation is not about where you come from, but about what you carry to where you come from. When he was Speaker, Umuahia Central roads, mini-stadiums, transformers, empowerment were seen — not because they were his father’s compound alone, but because he understood charity must begin at home and not end at home. He did not abandon his own and claim to love others.

ORJI WILL NOT ABANDON ULONNA SOUTH

Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji will not abandon Ulonna South Farm Settlement. He will not abandon Olokoro-Ahiaukwu-Amangwo-Umuajata Road. He will not abandon Iyi Umudere Bridge. He is the man who would fight for what belongs to Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency, who would not divert from burning issues through name calling, who knows that palm produce road is as important as Abuja motion. He will take Ulonna South file to Ministry of Agriculture, to RAAMP, to Works, and ensure Ohuhu farm settlement that feeds Abia is not allowed to die in neglect.

CONCLUSION: LET OHUHU BE SAVED FROM HER OWN SON’S NEGLECT

Conclusion, and it is piteous conclusion: Ulonna South Farm Settlement should not be crying for help in 2026 under her own son’s watch. Mazi Ndudim Iweha should not be lamenting. Palm produce should be in market, not rotting in farm. If a man abandons his own domain, he has abandoned all domains. That is why clamour for deliverer is justified. That is why Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency now looks beyond Ohuhu son who forgot Ohuhu, to a man who never forgot any part of Ikwuano Umuahia — Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, bastion of emancipation, voice that will make charity finally begin at home.
