“May God Grant You The Wisdom, Courage, Humility And Strength For The Deserved Result As The Next Representative Of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency” – Ibeku Traditional Rulers Endorse Chinedum Orji

The Traditional Rulers and custodians of the heritage, culture and values of Ibeku Ancient Kingdom have unanimously adopted and endorsed their beloved son, the former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, for the seat of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal House of Representatives.

The revered Traditional Rulers in their separate speeches said their position to endorse the former Abia Speaker is founded on the principles of integrity, service, responsibility, peace, unity, accountability and respect for the people of Ibeku Ancient Kingdom.

They commended Chinedum Orji, for his commitment to the development of the people and for his demonstrated concern for matters affecting their communities.

They prayed that the Almighty God grant him the wisdom, courage, humility and the strength to get the deserved result of emerging as the next representative of Ikwuano/Umuahia for the betterment of the people.

Responding, Orji, thanked the Traditional Rulers for the honor they bestowed on him through their recognition and endorsement of his candidacy, he said “our people deserve leadership that brings people together rather divides them, leadership that creates opportunities for our young people, supports our women and vulnerable citizens, and leadership that promotes peace, development, and dignity for all”.

Continuing, he stated, “I humbly wish to assure Your Majesties that I understand the weight of the responsibility that comes with this endorsement. I will not regard it as a license for complacency, but as an obligation to work harder and to remain accountable”.

He further appreciated the Traditional Rulers and prayed that God grant them wisdom and guidance to pursue a better future for in their respective communities.

The royal endorsement was done at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Eze Samuel I. Onuoha, The Ogurube IV of Ibeku Ancient Kingdom.

An Elder statesman, Chief Charles Ogbonna, (Evuleogu Ibeku) was present at the royal endorsement.
