Galadima Urges Opposition Parties To Unite Against Tinubu Ahead Of 2027.

Chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Buba Galadima, has called on Nigerians and opposition political parties to unite and work towards defeating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Galadima made the call while speaking at the inauguration of the NDC National Reconciliation Committee, where he expressed concerns over what he described as efforts to weaken the opposition and limit its ability to mount a strong challenge against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, the political environment ahead of the 2027 general election requires opposition parties to set aside their differences and form a united front capable of challenging the APC at the polls.

Galadima also criticised aspects of the Electoral Act, alleging that some of its provisions were designed to favour President Tinubu and the ruling party ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

He urged opposition leaders to prioritise the national interest over individual and party differences, stressing that cooperation among opposition parties would increase their chances of defeating the incumbent president.

The NDC chieftain maintained that a united opposition remains crucial to providing Nigerians with a credible alternative in the 2027 election.
