“Aguocha Has Failed And Would Not Be Allowed To Continue In 2027 As Foretold By The Good People Of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency Through The Ballot” – Paul Njoku

Comrade Paul Njoku, a human rights activist and the political strategist to the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has lamented that Chinedum Orji is fighting for Nnamdi Kanu’s freedom with tact and diplomacy and not for the optics and politics.

This remark is followed by the statement credited to the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obi Aguocha, during his tour at Nkata-Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia on Thursday.

Obi Aguocha who was captured in a viral video said, “I have given my life to the service of Ikwuano Umuahia and also given my life to protecting the interest of Ndi Igbo.

“No vacancy!, no vacancy!. I am your brother. Leadership is who will stand for you when your life is threatened without keeping mouth shut. It will not be good if I suffer fighting for Nnamdi Kanu it would come to the benefit of an Ibeku-man who is not bold and courageous to defend Nnamdi Kanu his brother. A person who does not know that Nnamdi Kanu is his brother cannot replace me. Everything is not money.

“Abia State is far better than before. You should leave us to complete our tenure for 8yrs. When others were there, no Ohuhu person came and said I will drag Chief of Staff for 8yrs. No Ohuhu man said he will drag governorship for 8yrs. No Ohuhu man dragged the speaker and majority leader with you for 8yrs. The same family. Leadership is not made for one family. Ndi Ibeku, please I need your support”.

Reacting, Comrade Njoku wrote:

“Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji is fighting for the freedom of Nnamdi Kanu with tact and diplomacy and not for the optics and politics. It is worrisome to note that what Hon. Obi Aguocha can account for more than three years in the Green – Chamber of the House of Representatives is a melody of Nnamdi Kanu for sympathy votes yet he is unable to secure his freedom till date neither willing to transparently unveil a verifiable scorecard.

“Obi Aguocha is not aware that lawmaking is a craft and not oratory and fake experiments. Lawmaking is not a tie of serial denial of money given to him by the federal government for constituency development which is not visibly accounted for.

“It is deeply unfortunate that he is not aware that lawmaking is the patient work of drafting bills, scrutinizing budgets, lobbying, sitting through committee sessions, and translating constituency need into legislative language that survives debate and produces appropriations. These are skills built over time, not discovered on the day of inauguration. Coming to Nkata-Ibeku to incite people over Nnamdi Kanu’s incarceration is irresponsible instead of telling them your unrealistic scorecard with apology and withdrawal from the race.

“Maybe Aguocha and his goons have forgotten that Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji spent his tenure at the Abia State House of Assembly with indelible scorecard, rising to serve as Majority Leader and Speaker State House of Assembly – positions that do not go to the untested. These positions manage legislative businesses, coordinate with the executive, and carry the confidence of their colleagues which Aguocha lacks the enviable capacity to possess because they are not titles handed out for popularity and jealousy. It is earned through demonstrated capacity.

“It is not the fault of Chinedum Orji to qualify for a seat of a Majority Leader and Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly in the past. Every aspirant in the race wants the seat. Ambition is easy to display and costs nothing. Aptitude is harder to fake, and it shows only under pressure in committee rooms, in budget defense sessions, in the give and take of coalition building that every functioning legislature demands.
